Hamza Kholia is a globally trained, forward-thinking legal professional with over eight years of diverse experience spanning corporate law, litigation, immigration, compliance, and legal advisory. A qualified Advocate before the High Courts of Pakistan, Hamza began his career with five years at leading law firms, advising clients on complex litigation and corporate matters, while also helping startups build their legal frameworks, manage risk, and scale responsibly.He then joined Shell Pakistan, where he served as in-house counsel for three years, leading high-stakes litigation, overseeing strategic divestment projects, and driving legal solutions across downstream business operations. His leadership extended beyond legal problem-solving. Hamza was also trained in ethics, compliance, and corporate affairs, and regularly conducted internal trainings on anti-bribery and corruption, data privacy, and stakeholder engagement. As part of Shell’s LiveWIRE innovation program, he supported entrepreneurs through legal mentoring and earned multiple awards for excellence and innovation in legal delivery.Now based in Canada, Hamza combines international legal insight with local expertise. He has completed an LL.M. in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and is currently pursuing a second LL.M. in International Business Law at the same institution. His legal education spans UK law, South Asian practice, and U.S. legal reasoning, giving him a uniquely global lens on legal challenges.Hamza’s advisory practice covers a wide range of sectors, including technology, energy, immigration, taxation, competition, and compliance.
